The 2022.5–2026 GMC Sierra 1500 shares the T1 Refresh platform and Global B (VIP) electrical architecture with its Chevrolet sibling — and like all T1 Refresh trucks, it comes standard with IOK (Google Built-In Infotainment). Sierra buyers from SLE and SLT to AT4 and Denali still have meaningful upgrade options through White Automotive & Media Services (WAMS): 12.3″ digital cluster, steering wheel kits, and VPM programming. All shipped VIN-programmed. No dealer visit required.
If the 12th character of your Sierra’s VIN is 5 or higher, your truck is the Global B Refresh and qualifies for the upgrades on this page. VIN digit 12 lower than 5 means Global A — see the 2019–2022.1 Sierra upgrade page instead.

Steering Wheel Upgrade Kit
Add a new OEM leather steering wheel with audio control support to your 2022.5–2026 Sierra 1500 ($199.99). Works standalone or as a complement to the 12.3″ cluster upgrade.
Video Processing Module (VPM) Programming
VPM Programming Service for 2022.5+ Global B T1 trucks ($449.99). Programming performed with genuine GM diagnostic software. Contact WAMS to confirm if this applies to your Sierra build.
About the 2022.5–2026 GMC Sierra 1500 Infotainment System
The 2022.5–2026 T1 Refresh Sierra 1500 comes standard with IOK — GM’s Google Built-In Infotainment system running Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play Store natively in the head unit. This is distinct from the IOS/IOT CSM found in the earlier 2019–2022.1 Global A trucks. The Global B architecture used in the Refresh is electrically different from Global A, and upgrade services are not interchangeable between the two. GMC Sierra buyers on AT4 and Denali trims may still benefit from the 12.3″ cluster upgrade depending on how their truck was built. WAMS can confirm exactly what your Sierra has by VIN.
