About the 2019–2022.1 GMC Sierra 1500 Infotainment System
The T1 Sierra runs a CSM on Global A architecture — IOS on standard trims, IOT on premium audio packages including Denali with Bose. The Global A architecture used here is different from the Global B in the 2022.5 Refresh, and the two require different upgrade services. The 2022 model year is split by VIN digit 12: below 5 is Global A, 5 or higher is the Global B Refresh. Always confirm before ordering.
