About the 2019–2022.1 Silverado 1500 Infotainment System
The T1 Silverado 1500 uses a CSM (Center Stack Module) running either IOS (standard trims) or IOT (premium audio trims). The Global A architecture it runs on is distinct from the Global B used in the 2022.5 Refresh — upgrade services for one architecture will not work on the other. The 2022 model year is split: trucks with VIN digit 12 below 5 are Global A T1; digit 12 of 5 or higher indicates the Global B Refresh. Always verify your architecture before ordering.
